Airport security in Atlanta made me rethink my whole carry-on system

The system is fine if you take two minutes to think ahead. People dump random stuff in their bags and then blame security for slowing them down. Put your liquids in one clear bag, take out your laptop, and don't try to sneak a full bottle of water through. Atlanta handles more people than most airports and still moves lines fast. The real issue is travelers who wait until they're at the belt to start digging through their bags.

Do you really think it's on travelers to memorize a bunch of random rules just to get through a line they're already paying for? The system is what slows people down, not the other way around lol.
