My 'birds aren't real' argument hit 42 replies before anyone noticed the math was off

I was trying to point out a flaw in the drone theory by calculating the energy needed for a pigeon-sized unit, but I accidentally used the square root of the wing area instead of the cube. Someone finally caught it after three days of debate. Anyone else ever have a conspiracy theory fall apart because of a basic arithmetic error?

I remember pulling three all-nighters in a row trying to fix a bug in my old code. That feeling when your brain just turns to static is the worst. Hope you get a chance to step away for a bit.
