My buddy in Denver said the moon landing was totally faked... I thought he was nuts.

He told me to just watch a documentary called 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon' and check the shadows. I did, and now I can't look at the old photos the same way... what's the best counter-argument you've heard for the flag waving in a vacuum?

My cousin was deep into that flag waving thing too lol. Her physics professor showed the class how they used a moving horizontal rod to make it look like it was waving in the wind.

Check out how they twisted the flag to make it look right. That horizontal rod explanation makes total sense (they had to give it that wavy look). Honestly, most of those "proofs" fall apart with a little science.

Notice how people do this with all kinds of stuff, not just space stuff. They see a weird shadow in a photo and jump straight to ghosts, or hear a weird noise and assume it's a conspiracy. My neighbor swore his security camera caught a UFO, but it was just a bug flying close to the lens with the porch light behind it. It's like our brains want the exciting story first, and we have to be reminded to check for the boring explanation.
