inQuestion about how people judge a show's rewatch value
Totally agree, the twist shows are a one-time ride. You watch 'Dark' for the puzzle, but once you see the map, the trip is over. A show like 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' or 'New Girl' is built for repeats because the fun is in the characters, not the plot. Those shows are like hanging out with friends, you don't need a new surprise every time. The real binge champs are the ones you leave on in the background while you cook.

inMy cousin swore by using room temperature eggs for my buttercream, and I finally caved after a grainy batch last Tuesday.
See, that whole graininess thing is a Real Problem. I once made a birthday cake for my neighbor and the frosting looked like wet sand, it was so embarrassing. I ended up having to scrape it all off and just use whipped cream from a can. Now I leave the butter AND the eggs on the counter overnight if I know I'm baking in the morning. The texture difference is honestly shocking.
