The moon landing faked thing I laughed at for years... now I'm not so sure

I used to roll my eyes at anyone who brought up the moon landing being staged, thinking it was just people wanting attention. Then I watched a documentary that showed how the flag ripples in a vacuum, and NASA's own explanation about a rod holding it open felt weak. Plus, shadows in the photos go different directions, which a photographer friend of mine from Portland pointed out can't happen with one light source. Anyone else have a conspiracy they dismissed until something specific clicked for them?

Did you catch that part about the lunar module landing and there being no blast crater underneath it? I always figured the dust would get blown everywhere just like a helicopter landing on dirt.

Vacuum of space changes everything. No atmosphere means no air friction to kick up dust in a big cloud like you see on Earth. The dust particles just fly out in straight lines and settle super fast because gravity pulls them right back down. Plus the engine was throttled way down before touchdown to avoid digging a hole.
