Had to pick between two excavator brands for my crew last month
I was choosing between a used Cat 305 and a new Kubota KX040 for my small crew in Austin. Went with the Kubota because the dealer offered a better warranty package. First week in, the hydraulic hose blew on a Wednesday afternoon and the dealer had a replacement out by Friday morning.

the dealer had a replacement out by Friday morning" - man that's huge. My buddy runs a small landscaping crew down in San Antonio and he went with a used Deere because the price was right. First week in his hydraulic pump started acting up, dealer kept telling him "next week, next week." Took almost a month to get a tech out to look at it. Ended up costing him way more in lost work than he saved on the purchase price. He's been telling everyone the warranty support is half the battle with these things.

the dealer kept telling him next week, next week" - dude that exact same thing happened to me with a rental place in Phoenix. Told me "sure we'll have a replacement for you tomorrow" for like 10 days straight, lost my whole week of work I was lining up.
