That Tuesday in July when the concrete truck showed up 4 hours late
We had a crew of 8 standing around in the sun waiting for a load that was supposed to be there at 7am. The dispatcher kept saying '20 minutes out' for three hours straight. Has anyone else had a supplier just completely blow off a scheduled pour like that?

Stood around sweating myself one time when the redi-mix was 'just around the corner' for four hours straight. Drives me nuts how they think we don't have anything else to do but wait on them.

Does a concrete truck running 4 hours late really ruin your whole day or just give your crew some unexpected overtime? I get that it's annoying to stand around but plenty of jobs get delayed way worse than that. Maybe it's more about the principle of the thing than the actual hit to your schedule.
