Wasted $150 on a bad hair color line last month

Thought I was saving money switching to that new budget brand, but it faded after two washes on three different clients. Has anyone else had issues with color fading fast on certain hair types?

Dude, I've noticed this same thing with everything now, not just hair color. I bought a "premium" brand of dish soap that claimed to be concentrated and it was basically colored water after three uses. It's like companies figured out they can charge less upfront but make the product crap so you buy it again sooner. Same thing happened with a cheap t-shirt I got online, faded after one wash. It's everywhere now, they're all cutting corners.

Three of my clients had the same issue with that brand last month. The color barely lasted through one wash on porous hair, and even on normal hair it looked dull by day three. Did you notice if it was worse on bleached or damaged hair specifically, because that's where I saw the biggest failure. The manufacturer claims it works on all hair types but that's clearly a lie based on my experience. I'm wondering if they cut the pigment load or just use cheaper binders that don't stick to the hair shaft.
