The old drafting table I learned on vs. a Wacom now

Back in 2004 at this studio in Austin I spent hours hunched over a vinyl clipboard with a rapidograph pen, fixing mistakes with whiteout. Now I just tap undo on my tablet and the line is gone in half a second. Does anyone else miss the feel of physical tools sometimes or am I just getting old?

Honestly, whiteout for fixing lines? That's wild, I barely remember that stuff existing. Tbh the whole "hunched over for hours" part sounds like a nightmare for your back, but I get missing the feel of it. Ngl tapping undo is way better than painting over mistakes with liquid paper.

Hang on, is there really no one still using whiteout for actual drafting work? I thought some architects and old-school designers still kept a bottle around for making quick changes on blueprints or sketches.
