The worst part is how those predictable prompts wreck story logic. If everyone's forced to use the same "shocking" character death prompt, you end up with ten scripts where a key witness dies before act three. It makes the whole plot fall apart.

Those prompts also kill the small surprises that make a story feel real. You lose the odd details and strange choices that give a plot texture. Everything just becomes a smooth, boring surface.
