Spent $60 on a Yubikey and it finally paid off this morning

Got a phishing email that looked exactly like my bank's login page. I typed my password in without thinking, but the Yubikey stopped the login cold because the site wasn't real. That $60 just saved my main checking account. Anyone else have a close call that made you glad you used 2FA?

Nice, your Yubikey just did its job as a very expensive bouncer. It's wild how one dumb click could have cleaned out your account. That sixty bucks suddenly looks like a bargain.

Exactly, @theamason. That sixty bucks is cheap insurance against a total wipeout. My Yubikey has saved me from a couple sketchy login attempts already.
