I was at the airport in Denver and the wayfinding signs were a masterclass in a consistent design system.
Every single sign, from the huge gate displays to the tiny restroom markers, used the exact same blue, the same arrow shape, and the same font, which made navigating a huge, stressful place feel almost easy.

Man, it's wild how rare that kind of clear design is in most public places.

Honestly, just look at how many signs you see that make no sense at all. They use weird symbols or tiny print that nobody can read from far away. It feels like they don't even want you to find your way.

But have you considered that maybe those signs are made for people who already know the area? Like, if you live there, the small print or local symbols make total sense. It could be more about keeping things simple for regulars than helping every single visitor.
