TIL a junior designer showed me a layer naming trick that blew my mind
I was at a local design meetup in Portland last month and this kid, maybe 22, was working on a big project. He told me he uses numbers in his layer names like 01_Header instead of just "Header". Honestly, I never thought of that but it keeps everything sorted automatically. Anyone else got a simple naming hack they swear by?

Doesn't that get annoying when you have to go back and rename something though? I get why it works for organizing but it feels like extra busy work.

Feel you @vera_roberts, it does feel like a chore sometimes (especially when you're in a workflow groove). I try to batch rename things all at once so it's less of a pain. But yeah, skipping it usually comes back to bite me later.
