Wait wait wait - you actually used a brush and ink?! Like, not a fancy marker or a paintbrush, but the actual old-school calligraphy brush with real ink? That's wild, how long did that take you to get good at?

Saw a video once where someone said it takes about a year of daily practice to get decent with real ink.
