Shoutout to the guy who showed me his layer comp setup at a coffee shop
I was grabbing a latte at Brew House in Portland last month and saw a designer working on some packaging mockups. He showed me how he uses layer comps in Photoshop to flip between 10 different label variations without touching layers. It cut my client revision time from like 2 hours to 20 minutes. Has anyone else found a trick like that for quick variations in their workflow?

Wait, did your friend actually try this out or just watch the guy do it? My buddy saw someone doing the same thing with Smart Objects and layer comps at a cafe in Austin last week, said it saved him from redoing the whole file every time the client wanted a color change.

Oh wow, that's wild timing! My buddy saw a similar thing happen at a coffee shop in Seattle last week, some guy showing off a layer comp workflow with a dozen variations of a wine label. He said the guy flipped through them like magic, and my friend actually tried it that night and it saved him from remaking a whole file for a client.
