That "collaborative" Figma mode everyone raves about actually slowed me down for 3 months

I was skeptical of branching in Figma cause it felt like extra clicks for no reason, but after I screwed up a client file by editing live in front of them I gave it a real shot. Turns out using branches for my weekly revisions saved me like 2 hours per project once I set up proper merge rules. Anyone else find a workflow tool they hated at first then couldn't live without?

Feel you on that three month struggle, @rose_murray hit on something real about tools not matching your brain. Took me forever to admit Figma branches worked for me because I was so stubborn about the extra clicks. So glad you finally found your groove after all that time wasted.

Solidarity is definitely in order - I wasted a full week trying to make Trello work for me until I finally relaxed and just started writing sticky notes on my actual desk. The thing is, sometimes the popular tools just don't match how your brain organizes stuff. So glad you found something that clicks after that painful three month stretch.
