A lunch meeting at Panera made me rethink my whole planner setup
I was supposed to plan a move to Austin with my friend Dana, but she pulled out this notebook with color coded sections for work, meals, and even her dog's vet visits. Meanwhile my phone app was just a mess of alerts I kept ignoring. Seeing her split everything into three simple categories at that table on Tuesday made me realize I was overcomplicating my whole system. Has anyone else had a better luck with paper planners after ditching digital ones, or is it just me?

That whole thing is just how our brains work, we think we need more tools but really we just need less choices staring back at us. Paper forces you to pick what matters before you even write it down.
