Overheard someone say they use life design "just for career stuff" and I think they're missing the point

My neighbor uses this "vision board" app just for her job promotions and it drives me nuts. People treat life like its just a career ladder when the whole point is figuring out who you actually want to be outside of work too.

Honestly it kinda sounds like you're making it a bigger deal than it needs to be. Her vision board is probably just a tool for her to focus on what she wants, which might be a promotion right now. Doesn't mean she's ignoring the rest of her life, maybe she just doesn't post about that part. People figure out who they are at different paces, and some folks are just more career oriented by nature. Your mileage may vary, but it seems like her app usage has zero effect on your ability to live your own life how you see fit.
