My tablet pen broke right in the middle of a deadline yesterday

I was in the zone finishing a character concept for a client gig around 4pm and the tip just snapped off my Wacom pen. No warning, just a tiny plastic piece flying across my desk and suddenly I'm stuck with no pressure sensitivity. I spent 20 minutes trying to super glue it back on before giving up and driving to Best Buy for a replacement. Has anyone else had a pen fail at the worst possible moment?

Tbh maybe the universe was telling you to take a break.

Are you getting that feeling too, @nathang67? I've been there, and honestly sometimes a forced break is the best thing for resetting your headspace.
