My tablet pen just gave up halfway through a big commission

It happened yesterday while I was working on a detailed background for a client piece. The pen for my Huion Kamvas 13 just stopped registering pressure, so all my lines were the same thickness. I had to quickly switch to my old mouse to finish the blocking in, which was a huge pain. Has anyone else had a Huion pen fail like that, and what did you do to fix it?

Oh man, I totally thought those pressure issues were always just a loose connection or something. But reading this actually changed my mind. I had a similar freakout with my Pro 22 and a nib swap fixed it instantly.

That pressure failure is the worst. I had the same thing happen with my Kamvas 16. I found the nib was actually worn down too far and was getting stuck inside the pen, which messed with the sensor. A fresh nib fixed it completely.

That's weird, my pressure issues were totally different and a new nib didn't help at all lol.
