My take on screen placement after a crowded digital art night
I was at a digital art exhibit last Friday and it was packed. With so many people, I could barely see the lower screens because everyone was standing in front. Is there a better way to lay out rooms for big crowds like that?

you said you could barely see the lower screens... but that's kinda the point of a busy show. It forces you to move around and engage differently. I went to a projection mapping event last month where all screens were eye-level, and it was just as chaotic. The crowd became part of the art... blocking views made you focus on what you could see. Changing the layout would kill the spontaneous vibe these nights have.

Are you really saying that blocked views are a feature, not a bug? That just sounds like a fancy way to excuse poor design. I go to shows to actually see the performance, not play a game of peek-a-boo with strangers' heads. If I wanted to "focus on what I could see," I'd stay home and watch a video with half the screen covered. Spontaneous vibe is one thing, but feeling like I missed half the show because of bad layout is another. Making things easier to see doesn't ruin the vibe, it just means more people enjoy the art.

Actually, lower screens vs crowd blocking.
