I finally found a coworking spot in Chiang Mai that actually gets the small stuff right

I was in this tiny cafe near Nimman last month, and the owner came over after I'd been there for 3 hours and said, 'You're the one who waters your plant between emails.' She brought me a free refill and a plug adapter without me asking. Has anyone else found a place that just clicked because of one person's small gesture?

Hold up, wait. The owner came over and said that to you? That's wild. I've been going to cafes for years and nobody ever notices what I'm doing. They just see a laptop and a coffee cup. That level of attention to detail is legit creepy but also kind of amazing. I bet she watches everyone like a hawk. That's the kind of service that makes you want to come back every single day. I'm honestly jealous right now.

Man, I gotta say I see it a little different. That kind of attention would make me super uncomfortable. I go to cafes to get work done, not to feel like I'm being judged for every sip or scroll. It's great she's on top of things, but personally I like being invisible. If the owner came over and called me out on how I drink my latte, I'd probably start going somewhere else. Creepy service is still creepy even if it's well meaning.
