Showerthought: took me 3 weeks to find a co-working space in Lisbon with a decent chair

I assumed everywhere would have ergonomic setups since it's such a hub for digital nomads. Nope, spent 14 days working from coffee tables and hostel couches before I found Second Home in Cais do Sodre. Anyone else waste a ton of time on this simple thing?

Tbh, I spent two full weeks in Medellin hunting for a $300 coffee table with a proper back support.

Back support on a coffee table? That's a new one.

Funny you mention that, I had a buddy who went down a similar rabbit hole. He spent three weekends in a row hitting up every thrift store and antique shop in Portland looking for a mid-century coffee table with that exact thing - solid lumbar support for his back when he leaned forward. The guy even brought a measuring tape and would sit on the floor in these dusty places testing out the curve of the wood. Ended up finding one at a garage sale for 40 bucks, painted it himself, and now swears it's the best ergonomic piece of furniture he's ever owned.
