Found a faster way to align layers in AutoCAD with the ALIGN command trick

I was working on a floor plan last week and had to rotate and scale a whole bunch of furniture blocks to match an existing layout. Normally I'd do it manually with move and rotate, taking forever. Then I remembered the ALIGN command lets you pick three source points and three destination points in one go. It lined everything up perfectly in about 30 seconds instead of 15 minutes. Has anyone else found a hidden use for ALIGN that saved them time?

The ALIGN command is honestly a lifesaver for stuff like that. I had a site plan where I needed to match a scanned PDF background to some survey points, and picking three points with ALIGN got it spot on in one go, no fiddling with scaling or rotation separately. Just remember to use the 'Scale objects based on alignment points' option if you need it to match size too, otherwise it stays the same. Also, if you only have two points to work from, you can still use ALIGN and it'll just do the translate and rotate without scaling.

Totally same experience here, ALIGN saved me on a messy floor plan once.

Huh, it's just aligning stuff right? I mean yeah it works but people act like it's MAGIC or something. It's basically three clicks and you're done.
