Heads up on a new 'fast-dry' mud from a job in Tacoma last week

It set up so fast in the bucket we had to toss a whole 5 gallon pail, costing us half a day. Has anyone found a good way to slow down a mix that's kicking off too quick?

Ugh, that's brutal! We had the same thing happen with a batch last month, totally threw off our whole day.

Yeah, "threw off the whole day" is exactly it... we started doing a quick check on the first few units from any new batch now. Just a simple five minute test before we commit to the whole run. It saves so much headache later, even if it feels like you're slowing down at the start.
