Noticed something smart at a Home Depot in Phoenix
I was grabbing mud in Phoenix last week and saw a crew using those plastic drywall stilts with pool noodle slices wrapped around the legs. They said it stops the metal from denting the baseboards every time you shift. Has anyone else tried that trick?

A cheap fix" is right, but I gotta gently push back on the duct tape thing. Duct tape leaves this nasty sticky residue when it heats up (and Phoenix gets HOT, trust me). So when you peel it off, you're scrubbing goo off your baseboards for an hour. The pool noodle trick works better because it slides on and off without any glue mess. Plus, the foam compresses and grips the metal leg way better than tape ever could. Pipe insulation is good too, but only if you slit it lengthwise and zip-tie it on instead of taping it. Just my two cents from learning this the hard way.
