Update: That $250 'quick trim' tool was a total waste for my shop

Bought it last month thinking it would save me time on routine trims, but the blade dulled after maybe 15 horses and the whole thing feels cheap. Anyone found a decent alternative that actually holds up?

Sounds about right for a "quick" fix. Should have just used the old nippers and saved yourself the cash.

Old nippers" wouldn't have worked for this, it was a stripped bolt. Needed the extractor kit.

That's only two horses a week for most shops. Hardly seems like a crisis.
