Vent: I used to think pockets on dresses were a bad idea
I was watching a video from a designer in Tokyo who said 'a pocket is a small act of rebellion against the idea that women's clothes are just for show.' I mean, it made me stop and really think about function over form for a minute. What's a design feature you changed your mind on after hearing a simple point?

That "small act of rebellion" line... my friend got a dress with pockets and never looked back.

Wait, so @the_river said the pockets were DEEP enough for a phone AND keys? That can't be real. I've been tricked by so-called "pockets" before that barely fit a single coin. If that's true, it's not just a win, it's a total game changer. I need to know where that dress came from, honestly. My search for real pockets has been nothing but lies.

I always thought pockets on dresses were just a cute detail. Then I bought a simple black dress with deep side pockets last year. Now I can carry my phone, keys, and a lip balm without a purse. It honestly changed how I feel getting dressed. That little bit of function feels like a major win.
