Just realized my bank was paying 0.01% interest while my credit union offers 4.5%
I was reading a review on NerdWallet and saw the average savings rate for big banks. My account has been sitting there for years basically earning nothing. Has anyone else moved their emergency fund somewhere better recently?

My buddy just switched his savings to a high yield account last month. He showed me the difference and it was honestly shocking. Makes you wonder why the big banks even bother with those tiny rates.
