So I was about to throw out a whole batch of limp hydrangeas from a Friday delivery.

My grandma said to try dunking the heads in warm water for 10 minutes, and it actually perked them right back up. Anyone have a better trick for reviving specific blooms?

That warm water trick can actually damage some flowers. It might work for hydrangeas but it's a good way to rot the stems of other types. A straight cut and cold water is a more reliable method for most bouquets.

Seriously? It's just flowers. Terry_hayes18 is overthinking it. If they die, they die.

Grandma wisdom is often the best! The warm water trick is a classic for a reason. It works great on woody stems like hydrangeas or roses. For softer stems, a fresh cut and cool water is safer, but you gotta know your flowers. Different blooms need different fixes.
