Vent: My client's wedding invite font choice was a total disaster
I was working on a wedding invitation suite for a couple in Austin last month, and they insisted on using two very similar script fonts together. I warned them it would look messy, but they wanted 'elegant and flowing'. The final print proof looked like a single font with a weird weight shift, and the bride's mom called it 'confusing'. I had to redo the whole thing overnight with a clean serif for the details. It cost me 6 hours of sleep and a bit of profit. Has anyone else had a client push a bad pairing that just didn't work at all?

Sounds like a font hill to die on. They paid you, you warned them, and they still wanted it. The mom's opinion is what finally changed their mind, not your professional advice. Not sure losing sleep over a client's bad choice is worth it when you already told them it wouldn't work.
