Does anyone have recommendations for a really solid design-build company? We want to knock down a load-bearing wall between our kitchen and living room and totally reconfigure the space. I am terrified of hiring a contractor who flakes, leaves the job half-finished, or hits us with surprise bills. I would strongly prefer a team that handles both the architectural design and the actual construction in-house. Any names I should look into?
