Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to debunk moon landing deniers in person?

Blame it on my own brain but I once spent an entire weekend building a model rocket to prove something to my uncle - didn't even have a motor in it, just wanted to show him how fins worked on reentry. He took one look, said "pretty sure that's a toy" and went back to his recliner. I get where your buddy is coming from with the sticky notes because I've been that guy, waving a book around like it's a magic shield against stubbornness. The thing is, the more you try to prove stuff to someone who doesn't want to see it, the more you end up looking like the crazy one with a cardboard rocket and a stack of highlighters.

TIL cleaning a lens element with the wrong cloth can leave micro-scratches that show up more in direct sunlight vs soft diffused light

Last three lenses I tested looked perfect indoors. First sunny day outside I saw micro scratches I'd missed completely. Trust me, natural light doesn't lie.

Pointed my telescope at a random patch of sky near Orion thinking it was empty and got a full frame of faint nebula I never knew existed

Yeah, for real! Sometimes less really is more with landscapes. That empty space just makes you notice everything else.

Vent: My fancy espresso machine door hinge snapped off this morning

And then you can just grab the beans with a measuring cup.

Why does everyone love auto layout so much? I just don't see it.

Did you ever try forcing yourself to use it on a project you absolutely hated? I did that with a client's landing page once and by the end I was nesting frames like it was second nature, even though I swore I'd never touch it again. What finally made it snap for you?
