My cousin in Phoenix had a crow on his fence that did the exact same thing last month, just a total blank stare for like two minutes straight. Tbh it stopped feeling like a bird and more like a security camera with feathers. I tried to shrug it off but now I notice how they never really land near the cell towers, only on the wires coming from them. Ngl, your footage thing would have freaked me out too.

Egg whites can work for a radiator because the heat cooks them into a seal. Gum in a machine is different, it just gets sticky and attracts more dust. That gunk can really mess up the moving parts over time.

Lighting can't fix a truly bad paint choice though. If it looks that off under store lights, it'll probably just look like a different shade of wrong in daylight. You're stuck with the actual color on the walls, not the lighting.

My old design professor swore by Pantone's lighting booth for exactly this. That sage green probably looks perfect under cool white office fluorescents.
