inHow I finally got clean cuts around floor registers
Your 'ragged edges' from shears sounded just like my old work. This chalk and backside cut method completely changed my approach.

inAppreciation post: My cheap drip machine makes coffee just as good as fancy setups
Man, this talk about defending pour-overs takes me back. I was at a coffee shop last year and two customers nearly came to blows over the 'proper' grind size. One guy was waving his phone with a chart, saying the other's method was ALL wrong. The barista had to step in and calm them down, but you could tell she was low key judging both of them. It was wild how heated people get about their coffee rituals. Honestly, that kind of passion is why pour-over culture is so intense.

inTrying a new styling tip session after cuts and loving the results
Honestly, when you say "that extra minute makes all the difference," I see it differently. Tbh, not every client actually wants a styling lesson after a cut. Some people are fine with just the haircut and will manage their own look at home. Also, barbers are often really busy and adding extra time for every person isn't always possible. Ngl, when stylists do try to show me, it can feel rushed and not that helpful. I believe a good haircut should stand on its own without needing a ton of product or special tricks.

inPro tip: You can often skip the vapor barrier on wood subfloors
Yeah, fell for that old advice myself. @lily_king nailed it.
