Talked to a guy at a coffee shop in Denver who runs a 3 person agency and he said something about pricing that really got me thinking

He told me he doubled his rates two years ago and only lost 3 clients, which made me wonder if I am way undercharging for my 5 years of experience, has anyone else tried a big jump like that?

Read somewhere that raising prices actually makes clients respect you more, goes against what we all worry about.

Doubling my rates for new clients worked like a charm too lol.

Doubled my rates for new clients back in 2022 and it was honestly the best move I ever made. Lost maybe 2 or 3 that were more price sensitive, but the quality of clients went way up and I actually started making money instead of just being busy. Started small by raising rates 20% for existing clients first to test the waters, then went all in on the bigger jump for new ones. Biggest thing I learned is that confidence in your pricing actually makes clients trust you more, not less.
