We tried running a team meeting with and without a clear agenda last month

The first one was a total mess, people kept going off topic about random stuff like weekend plans. The second one we wrote down three things to talk about and stuck to it, took half the time. Our project lead in Atlanta said it was the most useful 30 minutes we'd had in weeks. Anyone have a good template for quick daily check-ins?

Try keeping a running list of potential topics in a shared doc. We have a rule that if it's not on the list, it waits for the next meeting. For daily check-ins, we literally just ask three questions: what you did yesterday, what you're doing today, and any blockers. Takes five minutes.

Used to think agendas were a waste of time, but seeing a meeting actually finish changed my mind.

Wow, we do the three-question check-in too and it saves so much time.
