That's an interesting take, but I feel like it misses the mark. A truly great anime, like Cowboy Bebop, leaves you feeling full, not empty. The best stories give you something to carry with you, not just a sense of lost hours.

Your brother might be onto something. @kellylopez is right about Bebop, but some shows are just a beautiful waste.
