PSA: I just figured out why my anime watch order was making me hate shows
Honestly, I was watching the Monogatari series in release order for like 6 months, getting super confused and dropping it twice. Then my friend in Chicago said, 'Dude, you're doing it wrong, you need the novel order.' I switched and binged it in a week. Has anyone else had a watch order totally change a series for them?

Exactly what @jordangibson said... it's like when a playlist is in a weird order and the whole mood is off. Happens all the time with delivery apps putting the entree before the appetizer, so your food makes no sense. Just kills the whole experience.
