Last Tuesday was the worst day I've had on the job in 5 years

I had three calls back to back and every single one went sideways. First one was a dishwasher that wouldn't drain, turns out the previous guy had shoved a bottle cap down the drain line. Then a fridge ice maker that was dead because the owner plugged it into a GFCI outlet that kept tripping. The worst was a dryer that smelled like burning plastic, found a sock melted onto the heating element. Three hours of driving between calls too, all on the north side of town. I charged less than half my normal rate for the dryer job because I felt bad for the lady, her kid had been saving for months to buy that thing. Anyone else have a day where nothing goes right and you start wondering if you picked the wrong trade?

Does it EVER feel like everything that CAN go wrong just COMPLETELY lines up on one day? I swear sometimes you gotta wonder if the universe just picks a day to mess with you just to see how much you can take.
