Found a cheap LED panel diffuser hack that saved my shoots
I was struggling with harsh shadows on indoor interviews using my Neewer panels. Tried a $30 softbox attachment but it was too bulky for tight spaces. Then I grabbed a roll of 216 white diffusion from a film supply place in Phoenix for $12. Taped a double layer right over the panel and it softened the light way better than I expected. Anyone else found random household stuff that works as grip gear?

Taped a double layer right over the panel and it softened the light way better than I expected" - but is this really a game changer or just a temporary fix? A $12 roll of diffusion tape isn't going to hold up long on a hot panel, and you'll probably be replacing it every few shoots. Seems like a decent stopgap, but I'd rather save for a proper softbox than rely on tape and hope.

Noticed that with @fiona_nelson51 - half the "hacks" in life are really just duct tape with better branding.
