My gimbal locked up mid-shoot at South Mountain last week

I was filming some sunset B-roll for a real estate client out by South Mountain and suddenly the gimbal just froze. The arm seized up and wouldn't budge. I had to basically disassemble it on the hood of my truck with a multi-tool to get it moving again. Still not sure if it was a firmware glitch or a bearing failure. Has anyone else had a Zhiyun gimbal just lock up like that?

Disassembling it on a truck hood sounds like a nightmare.

Oh man, @kai779 it's not as bad as it sounds if you take your time. I actually did a full breakdown on a tailgate once and just laid out a tarp underneath to catch all the small parts and springs. Keeping the screws in a magnetic tray or even an old muffin tin sorted by step made a huge difference for me. You just gotta go slow and take pictures before you pull anything apart so you know where it all goes back together.
