Remember getting that exact line from a forum admin in 2018. It felt like a slap, but it changed how I search. Now I type my question into Google but add "site:reddit.com" at the end. You find these old threads where five people had the same weird router issue and the fix is buried on page three. It's like digital archaeology.

Oh man, @uma_rodriguez, that trick is a lifesaver for old gaming forums. I've found fixes for broken quests in decade-old RPGs that way, stuff totally gone from the official sites.
