inUpdate: Our club keeps arguing over whether a character's action was 'out of character' based on the author's other books...
How do you even start that argument? Each book has its own world, so the rules from one just don't apply. It sounds like a quick way to talk past each other.

inMy new plant light cost me $150 and I'm not sure it was worth it
My cheap LED shop light from the hardware store did more for my mint than any fancy grow light ever did.

inI finally figured out why my tent was always damp in the mornings
Honestly that's such a classic mistake, I did the same thing for ages. Tbh I used to cram my sleeping bag straight into its stuff sack while it was still a bit damp from morning dew. Ngl it led to some seriously funky smells and a bag that just wouldn't stay warm. Finally figured out I had to let it air out completely, even if that meant leaving it loose in the car for the drive home.

inMy sister, a high school teacher in Austin, said 'AI is just a fancy calculator' and it really got under my skin.
Ever see it write a poem?

inStopped by a bakery in Boise and saw a tray of perfect croissants next to a pile of burnt ones.
Honestly, that baker is onto something. Seeing the burnt mess next to the perfect ones is way more real than just the highlight reel. It totally takes the pressure off. For learning, it forces you to figure out what went wrong instead of just hiding the evidence. My first few loaves looked like doorstops, and staring at them was the best motivation to try again. Keeping the fails in sight is a solid move.
