I finally bought a decent scale for my morning brew

For years I just eyeballed my coffee grounds, thinking it didn't matter much. Then I dropped about $25 on a simple kitchen scale that measures grams. The first time I used it, I saw I was using way more coffee than I needed, almost double. Now my coffee tastes smoother and my bag lasts twice as long. Anyone else have a small tool that changed their routine?
