My coworker in Austin just showed me a Figma plugin that cut my mockup time in half
We were working on a mobile app redesign last week and I was stuck making the same button style over and over. She leaned over and told me to install 'Button Buddy'. It auto-creates a whole set of button states with one click. I used to spend maybe 20 minutes on that part, now it's done in two. What's the best plugin you've found for speeding up repetitive design tasks?

That 20 minutes to 2 minutes thing is a huge jump... but honestly, how often are we really just making buttons all day? It feels like we get excited about saving tiny bits of time on tasks that aren't even the main part of the job. I get what @shanenguyen is saying about avoiding busywork, but sometimes I wonder if hunting for the perfect plugin is its own kind of busywork. You can spend more time setting it up and learning it than you ever save.

Cutting mockup time in half sounds like a dream. I've been there with those repetitive button styles, it feels like busywork. The 'Content Reel' plugin is my go-to for filling layouts with realistic text and images fast. Why do the boring stuff when a plugin can do it for you?
