Tried a new brush pack for a comic panel and got a weird texture I didn't expect. Anyone know why this happens?

Yeah, that "pixelated and strange" thing @simon_chen mentioned is the worst, right?

Honestly I've had great results with low DPI, maybe @simon_chen's brush pack just has bad files.

Weird texture from a new brush pack... I always thought it was just about the brush settings, but then I found out the canvas resolution can mess with it too. If your dpi is too low for the brush's texture file, it gets all pixelated and strange. Took me forever to figure that out. Now I always check that first.
