inMy big switch on consultation time: waste or must-have?
What's the rush, to get to the unhappy customer part faster? Seems like some folks would rather measure once, cut once, and then argue about it for twenty minutes. Watching a barber skip the chat is like watching someone try to build IKEA furniture without the pictures. Sure, you might save three minutes up front, but then you're spending half an hour fixing a lopsided mess.

inFriends always corner me at parties with their broken appliance stories
Oh man, I know exactly what you mean. Last weekend at a BBQ, my cousin's neighbor spent twenty minutes detailing his washing machine's weird humming noise (I nodded along but had zero clue). It's like once word gets out you fixed a toaster once, you're the free repair hotline. I started just saying 'have you tried unplugging it for a minute?' which works way more than it should. Now I mostly just point at the snacks and make a run for it.

inPro tip: Having sales try our new icon set showed where labels failed.
It's crazy how even really smart teams fall into that trap over and over. You'd think we'd learn from all the shampoo bottles and confusing remotes!

SO true, worth the weight for better food.
