My aunt insists on house rules that slow down every game

We played Carcassonne last Sunday, and she kept adding her own scoring tweaks. It dragged the game out for an extra hour. I tried to explain the official rules, but she said family games should be flexible. Now my kids are confused about how to play correctly. Has anyone dealt with a relative who changes game rules? How do you handle it without causing a fuss?

Finally figured out why my welds keep cracking on thick plate

Spent weeks redoing seams until a old-timer showed me the right preheat method. Now I don't waste half my day grinding out bad welds.

Swore by hand mixing mortar, but a big job made me switch to power mixers.

We finished the foundation so much faster with a mixer that I'm never going back!
