inShowerthought: My dad's old 'write it down' password system made more sense after a talk with my niece.
I mean, it's like we're adding digital locks so complicated we lose the keys ourselves. My building's laundry app needs a new password every 90 days and I swear I've spent more time resetting it than actually doing laundry. The simplest system you'll actually use is always better than the perfect one that locks you out.

inTried managing my team with daily emails versus a weekly huddle board

inMy mom saw my bullet journal and said it looked like a chore list
Seen this happen with fitness apps too. People start logging every single meal and step, and the joy of moving just disappears. It turns a walk in the park into data entry. Same with reading challenges that make you rush through books just to hit a number. The system becomes the point, not the thing it was supposed to help.
